Visit our “gioiellino” (our little gem)
The Poggio La Noce winery, just 30 minutes from the center of Florence, is open for visits and wine tastings, by appointment only. Everyone is welcome!
Schedule a tasting
We are a small, intimate wine estate and we offer a unique and personal tasting experience. The visit will include a walk through our vineyards as well as a tour of our winery, followed by a tasting of all our wines accompanied by light snacks. The cost per person is €45.
Getting here
The best and easiest way to reach us is by car. For convenient navigation, we recommend you use Google Maps or GPS by searching for 'Poggio La Noce.'

Further directions: Reach the village of Montebeni and then stay on Via Ontignano until you see the sign for Poggio La Noce (close to the church of Ontignano). After the sign, turn right and follow the unpaved road for another 200 yards or 2 km until you reach our gate.
If you are not planning to drive, we suggest you arrange a private driver or a taxi in advance. Uber does not work in Florence.
We offer a shuttle service from the main square in Fiesole, which is easily reachable by bus from Florence. This option can be added to your reservation during booking, before checkout.
If you have an adventurous spirit, you can also rent an electric bike to reach us.

Explore the winery
The estate sits in the hills of Fiesole, right at the doorstep of Florence and is comprised of two vineyards (roughly 3.5 hectares or 8.6 acres) of vines, mostly Sangiovese, with our underground winery right under the olive grove.
The vineyards, thanks to their small size and human dimension, are cared for manually, making the estate a "gioiellino" or a little gem. The entire property has been farmed organically from the start and received its official organic certification in 2006.
At our underground winery, efficiency meets elegance as we utilize every inch to produce top-notch, small-batch wines that embody the essence of our terroir and its native Sangiovese.
