About the label
Ca'NaJ
The Ca'Naj label illustrate the poetic link between our native Canaiolo grape and the "Great Dog Constellation" or the "Canis Major" which presents itself in the night sky during the summer period, end of July to mid August. It is believed that the Constellation of the Great Dog parallels the maturation cycle of the Canaiolo grape, which will typically start its "veraison" or invaiatura, changing of color from green to red and eventually black during this same period. The label illustrates the presence of the Great Dog in the night sky, paying homage to our beloved Canaiolo grape.
